WARTA is a L-band solid-state phased array, 3D surveillance radar. The radar meets technical requirements of the current NATO Deployable Air Defence Radar (DADR) specifications.
WARTA uses mechanical rotation of the antenna in azimuth and multiple simultaneous phase controlled in elevation beams to provide altitude scanning. Solid state distributed transmitter, unique waveform and advanced signal processing technology. The effective operation of the radar in the presence of jamming is achieved by very low sidelobe antenna, reduced peak power, frequency agility, adaptive signal processing and advanced radar resources management techniques.
