PIT-RADWAR S.A. signs IFF Antenna Supply Agreements for Raytheon

On November 4th, two “Letters of Subcontract” were officially signed between PIT-RADWAR S.A. and Raytheon at the PIT-RADWAR S.A. branch in Kobyłka, near Warsaw.

The first agreement, for the production and delivery of 4 IFF antennas for the Patriot system, is a continuation of the agreement with Romania, which provides for the sale of an additional Patriot battery along with the IFF system.

The second agreement, which commercializes the offset under Phase II of the Wisła program, provides for the production and delivery by PIT-RADWAR S.A. of 36 antennas for the new LTAMDS radars.

The agreements were signed by Marek Borejko, President of the PIT-RADWAR Management Board, Ryan Lehman, Poland Programs Director at Raytheon, and Paulina Epler, Member of the Management Board of Raytheon Poland.

The hall where the signing ceremony was held will be the production site for IFF antennas for the LTAMDS radars. The event was attended by Col. Robert Frommholz, Deputy Head of the Armaments Agency; Cdr. Arkadiusz Kalinowski, Deputy Director of the Armaments Policy Department; Arkadiusz Bąk, First Vice President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.; and Mike Mills, EXEC DIR, LTAMDS at Raytheon.
