PIT-RADWAR S.A. opens the Masovian Production and Service Center

Massive investments in the modernization of the Polish Armed Forces pose numerous challenges for PGZ to quickly multiply its production capabilities. The response to the needs of the Polish Ministry of National Defense is the development of the broadly understood potential of the Polish Armament Group (PGZ) companies.

On October 5 2023 in the presence of the Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak and the President of the Polish Armament Group (PGZ) Sebastian Chwałek, the Masovian Production and Service Center was opened - the latest investment of the Polish Armament Group (PGZ), worth over PLN 100 million. Conducted at PIT-RADWAR S.A. as the first stage of a larger plan to develop the production potential of the Group's electronic domain.

In less than a year, a modern production and service complex with technical facilities and the necessary technical infrastructure was built in Kobyłka near Warsaw. The project was implemented in accordance with the guidelines and assumptions of the Industry 4.0 concept, including configurable, mobile assembly stations, zone energy consumption control and full process monitoring in accordance with "aerospace" standards. The facility with an area of over 10,000 m2 and a height of over 20 m will enable the company to multiply its production capacity for large-sized products, including system integration, testing and service activities. An internal system for central monitoring and control of all important parameters, a local supervision center, a system of flexible FloorBox stations, including monitoring of floor deflections, allow for full management of pipeline production processes.

The completed investment, code-named Mała Kobyłka, is the first stage of expanding the production potential of PIT-RADWAR S.A. based in Kobyłka near Warsaw. Ultimately, most of the operational activities from the current location in Warsaw will be transferred to the location near Warsaw.

Expansion of the production capacity of PIT-RADWAR S.A. is a condition for the further development of the Company and participation in the modernization process of the Polish Armed Forces. This strengthens the position of this part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) in the areas of modern, comprehensive air defense, command and weapons systems based on innovative electronics, radiolocation and integration technologies.
